Profile bio

About Daryl Labar

My goal is to be the world's best technical architect for Dataverse/Power Platform, and through Gap Integrity, share the fruits of that goal with as many people as possible.I am a highly experienced CRM/XRM/Dataverse/PowerApps/Power Platform Developer and owner of Gap Integrity with worldwide recognition as a developer and leader, receiving the Microsoft MVP every year since 2015. I have extensive knowledge and depth in core Dataverse development, both on the client and server side. I am also an excellent communicator, able to explain and convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical team members. I tend to work primarily on long term enterprise projects where I serve as the technical architect/developer and quickly earned the trust and respect of the client. Multiple clients have asked me to perform code reviews of their own employees’ work as well as assess the technical abilities of potential candidates. My ability to quickly earn clients trust has resulted in them utilizing my teaching abilities as well (I spent a year as CS adjunct professor as well), helping to train client’s internal teams on best practices. I have extensive experience using CRM/Dataverse as a rapid development platform, as well as utilizing the normal sales and call center capabilities CRM has to offer, where deep custom integration is required with external applications. I frequently speak and offer trainings at conferences world wide, speaking at multiple events, year after year as well as co-host the XrmToolCast podcast. I have a great deal of experience with unit testing and developing frameworks for CDS, creating the XrmUnitTest framework that makes developing unit tests in CDS quicker, faster, easier, and more reliable, since 2012, and it continues to be used worldwide. Finally, I love opportunities to speak so if there is a technical topic that you'd like me to speak on that would fits into my wheelhouse of experience/expertise, please let me know!

Listed skills include C#, Databases, Software Development, Asp.Net, and 29 others.
