As the Chief Operating Officer I am responsible for the company’s day - to - day operating activities that support the businesses strategic and financial goals. I am responsible for the integration, leadership, strategic transformation and operational discipline for all current and future NMP facilities. I partner with members of the Board of Directors, CEO, CFO, the Commercial team and the executive leadership team to implement the Strategic objectives to grow sales revenue, generate free cash flow to improve EBITDA margins for the business organically and inorganically through acquisitions.

Executive leading the strategy, planning, implementation, and day-to-day execution of the operations teams across all North American sites, including Sun Pharma Cranbury, Ohm Labs, Pharmalucence, and DUSA. Directs all operating tasks required for the production of finished pharmaceuticals in compliance with all FDA, DEA, OSHA, Federal, State, and Local Regulations across all North American sites. Develops strategic plans and budgets for all site operations. Evaluates existing capacities and provides input for product allocation decisions and ensures successful commercial introduction of newly approved products. Ensures manufacturing efficiencies. Responsible for overall site performance and conformance to objectives.

In addition to my responsibilities at Taro Canada, I oversee two additional SUN Pharma facilities; Pharmalucence, Inc. and DUSA Pharmaceuticals. Pharmalucence is a manufacturer of liquid and lyophilized injectable pharmaceutical formulations. The facility currently utilizes a fully automated isolator to aseptically manufacture the radio-pharma product portfolio. We have also begun a 70 K sqft facility expansion to accommodate our product portfolio growth. The SUN Derma (DUSA) facility is an integrated dermatology company committed to improving people's health through its quality Dermatological treatments for Actinic Keratoses and Acne.

Responsible for providing strategic leadership and tactical support for the Brampton manufacturing facility. This includes responsibility for Manufacturing and Packaging Operations, Pharmaceutical Technologies, Engineering, Materials Management and Procurement, Warehouse and Distribution. Provide oversight and leadership for Human Resources, IT, Finance, Quality, R & D and Sales and Marketing for Taro Canada.

Responsible for all manufacturing and production activities at the US PCT Facilities in Allendale, NJ and Mountain View, CA including all staff in production, materials management, purchasing, logistics, and facilities and engineering. These facilities operate as Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations to support client-based Phase 1 – Phase 3 Cell Therapy products, with commercial manufacturing capability. In the Biopharmaceutical sector, Progenitor supports $15 million in sales.

Responsible for the Production Operations Teams in multiple facilities, Pomona, NY, East Hanover, NJ and Northvale, NJ. These facilities supported Barr’s generic product portfolio in a range of drug delivery systems. The output of these facilities supported annual sales of $2.6 Billion.

Responsible for the Production Operation Team at the Duramed Facility, the Proprietary subsidiary of Barr Pharmaceuticals. This facility supports Barr’s $400 Million Oral Contraceptive Franchise, including high-potency product manufacturing. Responsible for leading the Production Management Team to produce Quality products in compliance with all regulatory requirements to meet customer demand.

Responsible for North American Production Operations across multiple locations for this $6.5 Billion Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturing Company, specializing in Solid Dosage, Chemical (API) Production, Semi-Solid and Transdermal Systems (TTS). Successfully manage all Pharmaceutical Production, working with an operating budget of $70 million, and a capital budget of $16 million.

Responsible for a $35 million manufacturing operations budget with $6 million in capital for all solid dosage forms at Suffern, NY facility. Prepared and implemented cost controls to meet budget parameters and solicited approvals of capital appropriation requests (CARs) to improve and optimize production processes. Recruited, hired, trained and evaluated all production staff. Company representative for all FDA inspections, responsible for instituting corrective actions when necessary.
