Source and secure commercially viable new home entertainment properties, both internationally and locally, for licensed distribution in the territory. Both these Licensing and Distribution responsibilities required complex contractual negotiations.Work with the local FremantleMedia production operation to ensure that all home entertainment opportunities for locally produced programming were maximised.Research and explore FM's archives to produce new content that was commercially exploitable.Generally, monitor home entertainment technological opportunities. Specifically, develop digital opportunities for FM programming in the DTO/EST space as well as streaming and VOD applications on emerging digital platforms.Work in tandem with FM's TV and Licensing/Merchandising divisions to ensure maximum exposure/revenue generation through cross-platform support for related properties.Manage and develop the local Home Entertainment team. I initially established this operation in 2007 as a personalised, practical and impartial management consultancy support for small to medium independent businesses.

I incorporated Green Umbrella Australia Pty Ltd to provide a locally focused sales, marketing and distribution vehicle for DVD and companion book titles licensed by Green Umbrella’s UK operation.

I was one of 2 founding equity partners (along with the Chairman of Rajon) for this newly incorporated video company within the Rajon group. I acquired significant international visual programming output licensing deals as the foundation for this operation. The group was subsequently sold to publicly listed Destra Corporation – a leading independent Australian digital media and entertainment company at the time.

Warner Vision Australia (WVA) was a division of Warner Music Australia (WMA) and distributed its own, and licensed, video (DVD) programming to traditional/non-traditional retail, educational, and direct marketing channels as well as emerging digital content suppliers (mobile/VOD). WVA contributed over 25% of WMA’s consolidated revenue and profit.WVA’s revenue per head contribution was > twice that of WMA’s audio operation.WVA maintained the largest average (30%+) ARIA Music DVD market share throughout my tenure.Personally negotiated all programming acquisition licensing (internationally and locally).
