With a focus on technical direction and strategy roll out, implementing a multi-disciplinary operational framework with a focus on food safety culture, team development, environment, sustainability and governance. Detailed knowledge of technical food safety, In-depth understanding of global supply chains to drive food standards, strengthen supply chain reliability and maintain preferred supplier status. I maintained a close insight into industry developments, adhering to regulations and integrating new policies/best practice. Delivering robust technical solutions - reducing business exposure to technical risks and inspiring customer confidence. This role was focused on compliance and due diligence. I was in charge of implementing auditing processes across farming and worldwide raw material supply, ensuring 3rd party suppliers, farms, factories and packhouses adhered to regulatory compliance and ethical processes. Having established strong partnerships with a broad supplier base, I reviewed service levels and rationalised suppliers/growers based on performance. Within only a year, I launched a Group-wide Supplier Approval workspace, integrating due diligence measures and reporting within a single platform. With a focus on manpower directives, I implemented remote auditing tools to achieve workflow optimisation and reduce headcount, resulting in cost savings and improved output.

Working for this ISO 14001/ 18001 accredited business as part of the Vitacress Group, I was a customer lead and technical specialist, delivering robust auditing of food safety, R&D, quality and legal measures within local operations and European supply chain.

Responsible for plan management, I delivered comprehensive plans and projects with defined budgets and time sensitive roadmaps, focusing on crop health, storage and managing 1000 acres of potato crops. Working within the FMCG sector, I established a strong network of strategic partnerships with major food retailers and export channels, ensuring produce was marketed correctly and reaches the right consumers.

By prioritising workflow management, I constructed a highly structured work plan, catering to the needs of 120 multi-cultural harvesting staff and leading the 100 acre farm tunnel expansion project, introducing cost effectiveness by integrating custom-built tractors for harvesting and spraying in tunnels.

With a focus on seamless processes and streamlined activities, I am in charge of production, transport and supply chain, ensuring every aspect of operational management is in line with BRC regulations. Having achieved year on year cost savings in terms of labour and waste, I have delivered outstanding results in terms of efficient operations and elevating service levels.
