Project Scientist
Current•Experience with Connecticut, New York and New Jersey environmental regulations.•Conceptual site modeling and development of site investigation work plans•Implementation and coordination of site investigation and remedial strategies; preparation of bid specifications and procurement and management of subcontractors and vendors; communication with clients and regulatory agencies regarding the progress of project objectives for soil and groundwater investigations, remedial excavations, underground storage tank (UST) removals, bedrock aquifer investigations, in-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) injections, high resolution site characterization (HRSC) and building decommissioning. •Financial management of annual project budgets; review of client invoices; development of 5-year financial forecasts for project portfolio; and ensure compliance with client and internal financial controls.•Preparation of technical documents for submittal to client and regulatory agencies in accordance with company QA/QC procedures and regulatory requirements•Management of remediation system installation, maintenance, performance evaluation and performance optimization.•Promote health and safety awareness through identification and communication of potential hazards and near losses. Use Loss Prevention System™ tools to steward health and safety reviews, loss and near loss investigations and reporting. Emphasize the use of Loss Prevention System™ tools and discuss recent trends and mitigation with project staff. •Provide supervision of junior staff and technicians for the planning and execution of field and office activities and effectively communicate with team members, clients and stakeholders for successful project delivery.•Assist in training and development initiatives for junior level staff.
