In 2000 I started my career in sales. But it wasn't obvious for me to end up in sales. In my teenage years until my early twenties I loved writing and thinking creative. Sales was actually not my thing. Not at all.Life decided differently, I guess. But not with regrets. Somehow I seemed to have a hidden talent for sales. After 7 years of sales in banking I even decided to take it up a notch saleswise. I got into the recruitment industry. Another 14 years of sales passed. Overcame challenges and successes were celebrated.But when a life changing event happens to you, things change. Ideas change. People change. Dreams change.That exactly happened to me in 2021. So I took some time off to find what I really wanted to celebrate. Pursue what defines my happiness in life. So obvious, but so true. My three kids and most definitely my better half. But also giving back. So I started a voluntary agency, free of charge to help those back on their 'career' feet who have been struggling with mental health or have had a long rehab due to physical health.Next stop. Pursue the daily happiness between 9 and 5. Time for the next change in the industry. Ready to make another impact.
