Daryl Wong Li-Hom is a Leadership Development Program at Chick-fil-A Restaurants. Colleagues describe them as "It’s my pleasure to recommend Daryl Wong for opportunities in finance. I’m a former Finance professor at Evangel University. I left my position at the end of last year to pursue other business opportunities after having taught there for 11 years. Daryl has been in my class, and one of the classes he has been in is the Student Investment Group. This class has about 20-25 students that manage an endowment portfolio of real money, about $1.1 million. Every year the group divided into committees that each have a different role in managing the portfolio. Daryl was on the committee that wrote analyst reports on individual stocks and made presentations to the group with recommendations about whether to buy, sell or hold a particular holding. His reports and presentations were always done with excellence, and his attendance to the group even on days when he wasn’t presenting was very consistent. Participating in this class gives the students a good foundation for understanding macroeconomics, company financial statements, sector dynamics, decision making, risk management and working with a team. I’m confident that these skills along with Daryl’s drive and passion for the finance field will serve him well wherever he goes."
