I have proven myself as a leader working to enhance the performance of healthcare practices while overseeing all operational matters to include staff management and fiscal matters. By unifying operations, I have promoted efficient, safe patient care across multiple sites. My goal is to boost the patient experience while developing strategic policies and procedures that complying with regulatory requirements and increase patient census. I utilize available performance data for analysis of site performance, work to identify trends, and craft innovative solutions for areas needing improvement. Driving business expansion to meet organizational goals and objectives, I lead transitions including new site development and integration of sites that have been acquired.My career has had many successes since retiring from active duty with the United States Navy, including enhancing retention of talented physicians through addressing their concerns to boost satisfaction including development of strong relationships and realigning the management structure of the physicians’ group. I have identified, negotiated, and implemented collaborations with specialists, one specific example including cardiologists, reducing wait times and improving staff availability for patient appointments. An additional accomplishment covers maintaining regulatory requirements, where I directed the implementation of an EMR in 25 clinics with 55 providers. I hold a Master of Arts in Health Services Management from Webster University and am involved with many recognized professional organizations including current associations with the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Medical Group Mangers Association, the Georgia Medical Group Managers, the Texas Midwest Healthcare Executives, North Carolina Medical Group Managers, and Triangle Healthcare Executives.
