• Manage and lead the transportation, logistics, building facility and equipment arenas within a food production and distribution environment.• Introducing, and Implementing, lean concepts and processes within production areas and staff.• Focusing on change management theories and lean thinking with present Sr. and Mid-level management personnel in plant, to ensure future success of lean processes within operation along with continuous process improvement practices.

 Oversee daily operations of a three-shift checks and forms manufacturing operation with an employee base of 175. Operations include: warehousing, inventory, manufacturing, prepress, conventional and digital printing, bindery and finishing processes, Lean leadership, administration and maintenance. Closely partner with distributors and end user clients regionally and nation wide. Motivate and drive staff to achieve high productivity, while driving costs down in a Lean operation and ensuring quality and customer service goals are met. Create and maintain a superior teamwork atmosphere and environment. Reduced overtime from 15% to 5% within first 6 months of employment. Successfully created and implemented a program that further reduced overtime to 3% and lower. Developed in-house loss prevention and safety program as well as in-house staff communications and training programs. Restructured staff to increase production and operational needs and reduced staff where deemed necessary with no loss to production and increased efficiencies. Directed a workforce reduction of 12.5% with an estimated $815,000 in savings to the organization during first 6 months of employment.
