Bristol Pride's overarching aim is to promote equality and diversity for the public benefit. As an organisation we exist to counter discrimination against LGBT+ people across the South West but also work across all strands of diversity and equality.Bristol Pride is a registered charity and work year round to tackle prejudice and hatred while showcasing and celebrating community. As well as working with educational institutions and local councils, other project work supports vulnerable groups, including young people, BAME, Trans and refugee communities. We work with over 200 volunteers and work to create a better society for all.

Diversity Careers brings together students, graduates and all job seekers with employers who value, and actively support, a diverse work force. Delivering diversity focused careers event with organisation from all over the South West showcasing their commitment to a diverse workforce. Delivering training, CV workshops and interview skills master classes to job seekers as well as businesses.We offer employment advice, help with CV’s and application forms as well as sign posting you towards recruitment schemes and opportunities from out partner employers. We also run an annual employment fair which is the largest in the South West.Equality and diversity is at the heart of what we do. Diversity Careers have been working with both companies and candidates to improve skillsets, knowledge and champion equality within a variety of industries.

Supporting UWE placement students to find and thrive on Placement or Work Based Learning. Currently coordinator to the faculty of Business and Law.

Running events for UWE aimed at bringing together students, celebrating diversity and multiculturalism and promoting work within the community via support, outreach and volunteering.

• Managing of 9 sites across the South West inc Southampton and South Wales.• Advertising and conducting all interviews for sites under tight financial constraints.• Delivering interview training for Operational Managers and interview workshops for all sites.• Writing interview questions and creating processes.• Auditing HR Files for compliance• Advising and updating staff on Right to Work Policies• Liaising and providing feedback to line managers and making job offers.

With a working and up to date knowledge of UK and international recruitment legislation.• Working as part of the BBC’s outsourcing review team and BBC Monitoring’s restructuring review board, implementing a full restructure of BBC Monitoring.• Mentoring / coaching hiring managers and staff in best practice and fair selection.• Interviewing internal and external candidates for a roles both within the UK and overseas.• Job evaluation/grading as well as suggesting, assessing and marking appropriate assessments.• Using Management information reports to review campaign data including diversity, costs and ensuring recruitment is within stipulated KPIs and timescales and reporting on these details.• Line management, appraisal/objective setting for Associate Consultant and Team Assistant.• Designing/copywriting adverts, sourcing appropriate media. liaising with external advertisers and local communities to advertise positions.• Budget management: Advertising, assessments, training, relocation and interview costs.• Devising and presenting interview skills seminars for staff and provided development advice.• Working across BBC monitoring to implement competencies and values projects inc drafting interview questions for competency based recruitment.• Arranging and attending careers events to promote the BBC brand and offer careers advice.• Making job offers, negotiating salary, booking induction courses, taking up references and also producing contracts for both UK and overseas staff.• Designing and administering bespoke assessments, aptitude tests and OPQs.• Diversity Champion. Advising both managers and staff on policy and procedures events organising.
