My current position is Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Development and Strategy | SVP of Finance and Corporate Officer at Jabil Circuit, Inc. Jabil is an electronic product solutions company with more than 100,000 employees in 20+ countries providing comprehensive electronics design, manufacturing and product management services to leading electronics and technology companies. Jabil common stock is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol, “JBL.” A recent notable milestone was negotiating and completing the $2.2B transaction between BYD (a Chinese company) and Jabil. My previous global activities included providing for the overall leadership of the finance functions in Jabil's segments (DMS and EMS), underlying divisions, global shared services, financial planning & analysis and mergers & acquisitions. I was previously controller for all of Jabil, chief financial officer of our largest division and progressed into a leadership role for all of the divisional chief financial officers and controllers. More specifically, the segment/divisional finance teams (divisional CFOs and controllers) are integrated in the commercial business units and manufacturing centers and work closely with the commercial/operations teams in providing support for business unit/manufacturing strategy, commercial finance and risk decisions, productivity/efficiency metrics, resource planning and overall footprint optimization in driving customer satisfaction and shareholder value.Additionally, I was actively involved in enterprise level activities such as: board of director's meetings and presentations; publicly listed company earnings presentations; and, investor relations including direct interaction with analysts and shareholders.I am a former member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Internal Auditors, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and a former Certified Valuation Analyst. Additionally, I serve as a member of the University of South Florida’s School of Accountancy Advisory Boards (both in Tampa and Saint Petersburg locations). My experience also includes a position with one of the “Big Five” public accounting firms in their business advisory and assurance services group and contributions to the Electronics Business publication.Specialties: Extensive experience in corporate finance, public accounting, internal auditing, data analysis, business valuations, digital transformation, leveraging technology and mergers and acquisitions for multi-national corporations.
