Current- Conduct thorough research on current significant events and matters relevant to the Member's specific interests. Provide strategic advice to the Member and stay updated on ongoing events to ensure effective execution.
- Undertake in-depth studies and prepare inquiries, reports, interventions, as well as speaking and briefing materials.
- Foster connections and cooperation with ministerial offices, Senators, the Prime Minister's office, caucuses, federal officials, Crown corporations, non-profit organizations, and central agencies regarding.
- Collaborate with the Member and the offices of the Government House Leader, Deputy House Leader of the Government, Opposition House Leader, and Deputy House Leader of the Opposition in the House of Commons.
- Prepare the Member for House of Commons and committee work, in particular through briefings.
- Prepare news releases and organize press conferences and other media events. Draft and disseminate press releases, quotes and comments to the media.
