I have been lucky enough to have involved the construction and related fields for over 30 yrs, working in 42 of the continental United States. I have worked in 4 foreign countries as well. I started in this industry at 14, as a general laborer, and advanced eventually to Project Superintendent. This has given me a unique perspective to the entire construction process. Starting back when you were expected to perform all aspects, from concrete, framing, hanging and finishing dry wall, setting windows and doors, cabinets and counter tops, painting and staining, to installing the trim. I have installed multiple types of siding and roofing products. I started my own company which was responsible for the ceramic flooring, mill work, and shelving in a nationwide video rental chain. I have also enjoyed completing many custom home remodels/restorations. I have managed a lumber yard and truss shop for a few yrs. where I increased truss production by 230%, and tripled the amount of commercial accounts. I worked closely with builders and designers with truss designs to fit thier needs, and often set the jig. I had 2 yrs experience in customer service, as the warranty manager for a nationwide siding and window replacement company. I was able to streamline the process from report to comoletion by 30%. I was also lucky enough to have been involved in the theater and stadium sectors, executing screen swaps, both standard and 3D, installing new projectors, sound systems, and also sound proofing systems, and seating and front end work in many theater chains nationwide.

I inventory all decor and order missing or damaged items. We demo the old decor, move entire departments within the store, (often without having to de-merchendise the shelves), paint, stencil, and hang the aisle markers, dept. decor, hanging and wall graphics to the new package, I also construct the changing rooms for the new clothing sections, as well as remodel bathrooms, food prep areas, meat, seafood, deli, bistro, bakery and all other departments. I coordinate with the area Pharmacy Mgr, to schedule all subs and work to be done within the pharmacy as quick and convenient as possible.This includes the new consultation rooms being added as well as the MinI-Clinics being introduced to some of the larger stores. All the while maintaining strict adherence to local and state health codes, and safety issues that are specific to remodeling grocery and retail stores while continuing to stay open and serve the public.We work closely with Kroger space mgrs, and often work right along side their crews. I am also responsible for conducting weekly safety meetings, and include a copy of each meeting agenda, signed by all who attend with my monthly reports, along with all equipment safety inspections. I am also responsible for keeping all job costs on, or under budget,and maintaining a strict schedule set by the Kroger Project Mgr. and Space Mgr. I was lucky enough to get to design and remodel a kitchen, dining room, and bathroom with trains running overhead on a suspended track. It includes hand=crafted scenery and tunnels that cut through walls, and bridges the distance between cabinets over the sink, with all wires and controls hidden.I had the privilege of building the bridge myself, and helping the owner pick out the cars and decor adjusting the suspended track accordingly.
