In addition to that, I've also worked towards the total synthesis of complex terpene natural product via transition-metal mediated cascades.• In another project, I am continuing my synthetic efforts in the total synthesis of unique polycyclic terpenes and alkaloids seeking to exploit a recently developed sequence that can readily turn phenols into a variety of natural product architectures.• Simultaneously, I'm mentoring 3 Undergraduate Thesis students in different projects (Iso-Pictet-Spengler reaction, deprenylation chemistry and alkaloid synthesis).
