Executing the Marie Skłodowska Curie project MAXIWOOD. The project's focus is carbon accounting in the forest-based industry and MAXImization of the mitigation potential of WOOD products in Slovenia.

Assistant in the Working Party for International Environmental Issues at the Council of the EU in the field of Biodiversity, focusing on preparing EU positions for international negotiations related to the Convention on Biological Diversity, CITES, AEWA, Bern Convention and IWC. Coordinator of EU position for CBD agenda items related to Digital Sequence Information, Resource Mobilisation and Capacity Building in the framework of the SBI-3, SBSTTA-24 and OEWG-3 negotiations for the new Global Biodiversity Framework.

Management and implementation of Dutch, Danish and EU projects related to evaluation of retrofit policies for buildings. Analysis of the discrepancies between the theoretical, EPBD-based heating energy consumption and the actual heating consumption. Results and implications presented in reports, journal papers, conferences and PhD thesis.

Policy research on the role of LCA in the new European resource efficiency strategy. Attending seminars/workshops, briefing the cabinet. Daily preparation of press clippings of commissioner’s appearances in the media.

Execution of industrial emission measurements, related lab work, data processing (mandated by national legislation) and writing of reports. Preparation of waste management plans and environmental impact assessments for Slovenian SMEs.

Implementation of a project funded by the Dutch government: LCA analysis of building elements including an integrated LCA of a passive house.

Audit of agricultural subsidies in Slovenia. Reviewing the compliance of the subsidy requests with the actual conditions on the farms such as planted crops (GPS measurements and GIS data processing), livestock, hygiene conditions etc.
