Muvi is a PaaS (platform as a service) software product businesses used to launch their video/audio platform on multiple devices.

Lead product strategy and roadmap for the enterprise software company. Had P&L responsibility for all products with annual sales of over $10 million. Responsible for multi-million dollar initiative of migrating the product portfolio to cloud.

> Devised strategy to release a Japanese product in US. Designed the rebranding efforts including the product name, mechanicals, hardware and software. Resulted in over additional annual sales of over $2 million USD from US market.> Managed the complete product development lifecycle for first handheld field testing product; from product conception to successful market launch. Collaborated with cross functional teams from Japan, France, Copenhagen, UK and China.> Saved $300,000 per year by bringing product development and maintenance of large enterprise system in-house; from 15-member offshore team to 3-member in-house team. > Saved labor costs by reducing the number of product releases by 30% per year. > Directed design and installation of share point to increase communication across remote sites; was used by over 50 engineering and marketing personnel from 6 different countries. Created integrated source control and issue tracking system between remote sites

Founded my first company at the age 24 by investing $100. Sold the company after 2 years for half a million dollars. Had 25 employees at the time of sale.

Reviewed and approved software designs. Worked with manufacturing, sales engineers and customer service to sustain and improve existing released software. > Received “Mr. GigE” award for single-handedly managing the complete development of the Ethernet product. Performed several cross functional tasks including market research, technology research, product design, product concept development, specification, system design and software development. With no prior Ethernet experience, delivered the product on time and in budget.> Provided maintenance and support for CMA5000. Platform was used by engineering teams across the world to develop their applications. > Took initiative in bringing Fiber Channel and CD instruments in house. They were in jeopardy of being lost due to bad design and poor communication with vendors. Through series of actions, team subsequently delivered outstanding product that was delivered on time and met customer’s approval.

Gained experience using software configuration management and software design methodologies. * Developed graphical user interface (GUI) of CMA5000 OTDR instrument. Worked on Java (Swings, JDBC, Applet and JNI) and C++, on Windows and Linux platform. Designed CORBA interface for distributed environment, where the instrument was run remotely. * Learnt new features and components of JAVA 3 in less than a month and utilized them to make several improvements in the performance and usability of CMA5000 platform software. * Worked with hardware engineers to develop software components for managing battery power, handling key strokes and integrating with external devices.
