Working for the R&D Team which owns a product called EDGE Order Management System(a suit of applications built in Java and ColdFusion). Development includes developing new modules for supporting order management use cases like payments, shipping, warehousing, refunds and returns.Responsibilities: Working on developing new modules and enhancements for the application ‘EDGE’ product (E-Commerce Order Management System) on Java, ColdFusion and SQL by designing database schema and Java code workflows. Developing independent business functions using web-services with RESTful API. Enhancing the ‘EDGE’ product to use new processing and non-processing payment methods by making changes to ‘EAISF’ module (Payment module for EDGE product) in Java following rules to eliminate OWASP vulnerabilities.  Using Hibernate for Object Relational Mapping and implementing Criteria API for persistence. Migrating legendary front end screens using HTML, CSS and JavaScript and integrating the screens with back-end micro services by making AJAX calls. Writing deployment scripts in SQL for new implementations and migration scripts for functional changes and enhancements. Participating in Grooming/Planning meetings with the team to make key decisions in the architecture and design of the new stories about to be implemented. Writing Unit test cases and testing the developed code for functional requirements before delivering to QA/Testers. Participating in code-reviews with co-developers to assure Code stability, efficiency and scalability. Working with Jenkins for automation of continuous integration from SVN repositories. Fixing existing defects in the product in both Java and ColdFusion code. Troubleshooting critical issues with Support team to give a quick HotFix (Patch) for the clients.

• ONLINE USED CARS SEARCH APPLICATIONA web application developed for a reputed pre-owned car dealer which helps people search for used cars and look into their price and accident history. The application also allows agents to add, modify and delete the inventory.Responsibilities: Developed the back-end code using Servlets integrated with Spring MVC framework., mostly annotation based configuration. Used Hibernate to map the classes to the databases and for the query processing and retrieval process. Used log4j as the framework for generating logs, reporting and tracking the issues. Used Apache Tomcat as the application server. Used JUnit framework for implementing the test scripts.Environment: Java, HTML, JavaSrcipt, JSP, Servlets, Spring MVC, Hibernate, MySQL, Eclipse

• IGNITOR LAUNCHER An Android custom-ROM application developed for tablets used by students in schools. Students can access all their coursework, scores, study materials. They can raise any discussions using the student-teacher chat threads. Tests can also be conducted by teachers using tablets.Responsibilities: Manually tested the launcher in the tablets and found the performance issues. Developed JUnit test scripts for the potential functionalities. Participated in demos on how to use the launcher for the teachers and students(Client location presentations).Environment: Android Studio, Java, JUnit
