As part of the founding team, nurtured Tricog Health from an idea to a category leader in virtual cardiology solutions providing products and services to thousands of physician offices, hospitals, and governments. Over nearly a decade, the company has raised several rounds of venture capital and has served ~20 million patients from six countries while clocking millions of dollars in recurring revenues.

Led organization (~150 people) responsible for end-to-end delivery of all software tools, products, and services. The individual teams (product, software-web/mobile, data science, QA, SRE, data engineering, regulatory) collaboratively designed, developed, and deployed AI-enabled EKG and Echo analysis platforms, operations optimization tools, and data analysis dashboards. Using these, the in-house physician team over-read cardiac exams around the clock.Also started two new product lines from scratch and built teams to take them to early revenues,• An RPM solution integrated with workflow optimization and GMDT medication titration algorithms to manage HF patients at home. After successful clinical trials in US and Indian hospitals, the solution is generating revenues• Leveraged data, physician network, and partners to create an AI product pipeline - some of which are already in revenue generation stage

Focused on creating and leading the core data science, medical operations and regulatory teams at Tricog. The teams collaboratively developed and deployed human-centered AI systems to provide physician-verified cardiac reports in minutes. • The data science team used signal processing, computer vision, and machine learning techniques to create AI-enabled cardiac analysis platforms. The team primarily worked on EKG and Echo analysis, MVPs for Holter and TMT analysis, and tools for streamlining medical operations. • The medical operations team consists of a large team of physicians who use analysis software platforms, developed in-house, to overread thousands of cardiac exams (EKGs, echos) daily. The operations are streamlined through structured processes for physician training and monitoring to ensure high-quality reporting and low turnaround times. • Working in tandem with these teams is the Quality & Regulatory team which works on company-wide certifications (ISO 13485, ISO 27001, HIPAA), product certifications (CDSCO, CE), and supporting country-specific product registrations and compliance activities.

Created and led a small flex team to develop a sensor fusion platform using TI’s embedded processors interfaced with heterogeneous sensors like cameras and LIDARs. The platform showcased how TI’s embedded and sensor technologies could be leveraged to develop cost and power-efficient solutions to augment driver assistance features.

Led a five-member team to develop a novel 4 MHz 11-bit asynchronous ADC chip. The chip demonstrated that signals could be reconstructed from non-uniformly sampled waveforms at low power consumption, making it ideal for sensor applications. Was personally focused on system architecture and system-level design including working with analog and digital designers to model and simulate implementation tradeoffs and silicon impairments.

Worked on developing optimized DSP kernels and single/multicore implementations for, • Color and spectral Doppler processing modules for Ultrasound applications. These DSP routines were packaged into TI’s first toolkit for medical imaging applications and helped create a business vertical.• Object enhancement, adaptive filtering, noise suppression, and 2D histogram equalization targeted at Fluoroscopy applications.

Worked on various systems engineering aspects of WiMAX handsets. Developed modules for • Channel coding schemes: Convolutional codes, Duo-binary convolutional turbo codes, Block turbo codes, and low-density parity-check codes• Frame detection • ARM code for the transmit physical (TX PHY) layer software.

Over a span of ~5 years was involved in multiple projects/roles in the ADSL system engineering/software space. • Developed physical layer algorithms and embedded software over three generations of ADSL CPE platforms• System-level modeling and specification of ADSL CPE platforms; • Led teams for multiple product releases and interoperability events.

Developed various novel channel coding, modulation, and channel equalization algorithms and developed various end-to-end simulations to evaluate their performance.

Worked on adapting segmentation and classification algorithms from research papers to process satellite remotely sensed images.

Developed low-level C and Unix programming skills as part of a team tasked to port the Informix software platform (database) to Unix variants.

Learned the basics of marketing, sales, and production functions as part of the 12-month management trainee program. During the production phase of the training, developed a micro-controller (8085) based solution to automate the process of mounting filaments onto incandescent bulbs. Promoted to lead the manufacturing line for incandescent bulbs (110-member team in a 24/7 operation) at Kalwa Lighting Factory, Thane.
