• Designed and tested BMS controller PCB (Altium) to interface with cell-level BMS boards spread across multiple low voltagebattery segments and communicate through Infrared light using UART
• Designed schematic and layout (Altium) of a compact (< 3.3𝑖n^2) modular BMS to monitor and protect lithium-ion batterypack of 600 cells
• Developed and executed test plan for modular BMS PCB to validate design
• Collected and analyzed measurement accuracy data to calibrate microcontrollers and document error to inform subsequentboard design
• Researched components of lower size and cost for future revisions
