I am a creative, analytical, detailed oriented, determined outside-the-box thinker. I am very passionate about the field of landscape architecture and I am drawn to both the creative and technical aspects of the profession. My management consulting experience - such as project management, collaboration with inter-departmental and multidisciplinary teams, stakeholder communication and research - complement my landscape architecture knowledge.I enjoy identifying problems, finding innovative solutions, and creating spaces for people with nature in mind. I am a landscape designer with special interest in urban design, urban planning, sustainable development and innovative stormwater management techniques. -- My thesis design project proposes a new aquifer strategy for urban stormwater management that utilizes stormwater to create a cascading plaza and an improved ‘great street’ in Washington DC. This set of aquifers prevents stormwater from entering the existing combinedsewer and provides new groundwater source for street trees. On the surface, stormwater flows through interconnected planters where it irrigates and is filtered by vegetation before infiltrating to recharge the aquifer. -- New urban riverfront park and DC Water Headquarters campus on the Anacostia River in Washington, DC that harvests, cleans and celebrates wastewater and stormwater combined sewer overflow (CSO) effluent before releasing it into the river, -- Stormwater cleansing landscape woven into a system of urban plazas, parks, pedestriantunnels and overpasses that reconnects Rosslyn and Key Bridge in Arlington, VA to its Potomac River waterfront, -- Gradual conversion of an operating landfill in Prince William County, VA into a recreational landscape with three landscape typologies on the landfill mound: poplar grove, oak savanna and successional forest,-- Post-industrial brownfield site transformation into a public park and an urban oyster garden in Inner Harbor of Baltimore, MD
