As a Staff Developer, Dave worked on the ScriptHero team within CoverMyMeds. This team developed a patient facing product that reduced the financial burdens patients face with prescription costs and management. He worked closely with product managers and other team members in exploring feasibility and overall technical design. He served as a player-coach within this role, not only helping to grow his technical team, but also actively contributing to the code base and overall technical solution.His day-to-day tech stack was composed of Ruby on Rails, Vue, PostgreSQL, Docker, Azure, and then some. He spent his time on this team evolving external REST based API's and evolving internal GraphQL based API's.

As an Engineering Manager in the Provider business unit of CoverMyMeds, Dave lead and supported a growing team through a transition into a new larger organizational structure and way of working more centered around core business needs. He provided technical guidance and insights for product focused team members and helped in identifying opportunities for his technical team to execute on various provider facing initiatives.In this role, Dave was responsible for leading 10 direct reports with varying technical skillsets.He also served in a hands-on role as a technical lead for a new product offering that required him to act as a player-coach, building and evolving a team to discover new opportunities with the specialty medication space.

In this role, he also lead development efforts for other Emerson business units in a consultant-like role as a member of the RIDGID software solutions team. As the mobile development team lead, Dave was primarily focused on mobile application development efforts for both Android and iOS platforms.Dave was responsible for the delivery of native Android and iOS solutions as well as server side solutions for various clients with varying technology stacks.
