Currently, I work as a Field Service Technician - Level III for Light & Wonder. My worksite is located at the MGM Casino. Light & Wonder is the leading cross-platform global game company and we provide and service our casino games to many companies such as MGM. In my current role, I am responsible for the daily service of 3000+ games – being sure that they are up and playable at all times while collaborating with another Level III Technician to lead a staff of 10 technicians, as well as promptly communicating and addressing any concerns from MGM management, employees, and casino guests. I am also responsible for verifying property specifications so that game options and parameters can be set in accordance to New York State Lottery laws & regulations. I have also left my mark on the company by contributing to a 50% reduction in daily game errors reported on our Daily Error Log since becoming lead technician. This production allows more time for other pending tasks such as training new employees and preparing for upcoming game upgrades and installs.In addition to these roles, I have displayed the ability to simplify and explain technical info by successfully training 6 new employees with a high retention rate since becoming lead technician. Along with this key experience, training new employees I have even developed an in-depth training/reference manual that was praised by regional management and has been used as a template by several casinos throughout New York State and Connecticut.Also I graduated from SUNY Canton College of Technology in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. I believe my education has provided me with the background to be able to step into this position and be able to excel at the required tasks.
