Promoted to Head of Marketing, I extended my scope to manage the entire marketing function, encompassing everything from paid acquisition to partnerships. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, this role allows me to contribute more strategically to the company's overall vision and direction.

Drawn by Proton's mission to revolutionize the distribution industry, I joined as the company's first Product Marketer. Reporting directly to the CEO, my initial responsibilities included refining the company's messaging and positioning, as well as laying the foundation for our content and thought leadership strategy. I established a cross-functional process to release new features, ensuring not only that our customer base was well-informed but also that internal teams were aligned and educated on the updates.

After my promotion to Senior Product Marketing Manager, my scope of responsibilities expanded:I collaborated with Product Management to overhaul the sign-up, pricing, and checkout flows, resulting in an over 20% increase in ARPNC.Working alongside Sales, I drove an upgrade campaign that generated a record amount of expansion revenue in a single quarter.I repositioned one of our underperforming products to better target its most lucrative customer segment.

As a Shopify store owner myself, I was sold on Rewind's mission of safeguarding mission-critical data for e-commerce businesses. In my role as Product Marketing Manager, my responsibilities were diverse:I spearheaded the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for four products across two verticals, coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams including Demand Generation, Growth, Product, Content, Sales, and Support to achieve our ambitious goals.I conducted interviews with over 100 customers to shape ideal customer profiles, develop personas, craft positioning and messaging, and create enablement training for the buyer's journey. This effort led to a 110% increase in MQL to Closed Won conversion rate, resulting in a $218K ARR impact.I researched competitors to create detailed battlecards that empowered our sales team.I produced more than 150 high-impact pieces, ranging from case studies and webinars to product videos and blog posts, effectively communicating the benefits of our products to key audiences.I conceptualized and led the launches of several programs to raise market awareness and position Rewind as the go-to backup and recovery app. These programs included the "Cover Your SaaS" video game, a Product Hunt launch for "Backups for Trello," a Black Friday Cyber Monday (BFCM) Virtual Summit, and more.

Starting Parcelly while still in university was an exhilarating rollercoaster of challenges and insights. The idea was born from my own difficulties in finding just the 'right' gifts for friends who lived miles away. As a Co-Founder, I wore multiple hats, overseeing product design, marketing, financial planning, and supply chain management.The journey wasn't without its mistakes—there were plenty—but each one provided invaluable lessons that steepened my learning curve. Over the course of two years, those lessons translated into a flourishing e-commerce business that generated 6-figure annual revenue. We attracted a diverse clientele, from individual consumers to corporate giants like Shopify, Kate Spade, Shake Shack, Lays, and Chanel.Three years into our journey, we expanded our portfolio by launching a sister brand, The Pencil Boutique Co., diversifying our product range and market reach.While I've stepped back from daily operations, both Parcelly and The Pencil Boutique Co. continue to serve a growing customer base and maintain a steady stream of annual revenue.

As the VP of Marketing for the University's Entrepreneur's Club, I worked to increase club memberships and get more people to our events. I made my own marketing playbook and ran fun campaigns that I thought would connect with students looking for a break from studying. For example, I set up a scavenger hunt to find tickets to our big event, the Toast to Success Business Dinner. This really got people talking and interested in the club. I also teamed up with our videographer to film our events, helping to create excitement and buzz. During my time in this role, club memberships doubled and we won both "Event of the Year" and "Club of the Year" awards.

In the summer of 2016, I accepted an internship in Moscow, focusing on strategic planning for brands like PepsiCo, Nescafe, and Carlsberg. Tasked with deep market segment research, my role involved becoming "the voice of the consumer" in our creative briefs. I delved into consumer pain points and buying behaviors, helping to shape campaign strategies. This stint at Leo Burnett ignited my passion for product marketing and the power of tailored messaging.

During my time at the ICC, my role encompassed a blend of administrative and communications responsibilities, with a special emphasis on the ICC General Assembly in Inuvik:I had the role of performing liaison functions for a delegation of 10 VIP international attendees. This included logistics planning, coordinating cultural programs, and providing interpretation services to ensure a seamless experience.I managed and curated content across multiple platforms including Twitter and Facebook. This grew our following and expanded our reach, resulting in fortified relationships with media outlets.I authored and edited various content types, from press releases to newsletters, that advanced the council's mission. I was also responsible for the design and content of the company website, and created high-impact PowerPoint presentations aimed at business development.
