My role consisted of; translating commercial cannabis regulation for all departments, mentoring fellow professionals on how to navigate the new laws regarding cannabis compliance, and developing tools and procedures that simplify the reporting process to keep up with high volume commercial activity. I hired and trained a team of 10 data entry specialists to manage the daily entry of commercial cannabis activity for the; cultivation, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.Accomplishments:- Inter-company team lead for the creation of the first fully automated delivery fulfillment platform; powered by the Wayv sales platform & Metrc APO features- Facilitated weekly audits for various licenses and worked with state agencies, as well as Metrc support staff, to reconcile inventory discrepancies discovered by my team- Assisted the VP of Operations with the on-boarding of new business partners to ensure their reporting procedures aligned with CA state regulation

I was hired by the Director of Edibles to help her improve the accuracy of deliveries and the accuracy of production inventories by combining data analytics and thorough inventory management procedures. The result of our collaboration was the Internal Auditing Program for Coda Signature's CO facility. My responsibilities were to conduct daily inventory counts and reconcile errors through state-approved corrective actions on behalf of management team.Accomplishments:- Team lead for evening inventory cycle counts and trained various manufacturing teams to use the ERM and Metrc databases to locate discrepancies that were outside of the state variance standards- Developed the daily audit schedule and published SOP’s specific to the new auditing program- Coda’s Internal Audit Program had a 97% accuracy rate at locating & reconciling fulfillment errors before drivers departed for delivery

My responsibilities included; providing data analysis for multiple aspects of the grow, studying CO state marijuana regulation, handling all the logistical support for the grow, and assisting the Director of Cultivation with developing a strong team of growers to achieve weekly harvests. During my time, I created data recording systems that quantified masses of real-time information for the company. I learned how to communicate business needs with quantifiable data that mattered to the ownership team.Accomplishments:- Collaborated with cultivation team to ensure business operations and objectives align with state marijuana regulation- Handled all logistics for the cultivation facility’s exports and documented the cultivation’s billable income for the accounting department- Team lead to help launch the company’s first medical sales location, assisted with the set-up of their systems and procedures to serve a new market of customers

I provided logistical support for the Executive Director at DSS. Working for a public/private collaborative allowed me to participate in meetings with the Denver Office of Strategic Planning about the future of Denver's Neighborhood Development program. I was brought on board in DSS's first year, which meant that I was responsible for assisting the ED with many business development projects. It was my first chance to; facilitate community focus groups, set-up outreach programs for our business partners, attend community planning discussions, and other skills that focus on providing support to local nonprofits that could not afford to stay in the neighborhoods they serve. Our goal was to create "mission-based" office spaces that enhanced the outreach of our nonprofit partners. My favorite part about working for DSS was the chance to network with the numerous organizations we served as well as learning about the distinctive sociological and economical missions that they advocate for.
