Provided information regarding GED Testing, GED classes, credit recovery, career exploration, College Admission, financial aid, and college transfer information to all walk-ins, call-ins, referrals and scheduled appointments.Registered candidates for assessments and tests, and provided test scores to candidates.Complete weekly status report.Assisted participants in completing FAFSA's and College Admission applications.Made workshop presentations to participants, agencies and community partners on financial aid, college admission, financial literacy, career development, and computer literacy at least once each month.Administered tests, including, but not limited to the TABE and Official GED Practice Tests.Provided group tutoring on a regular schedule and individual tutoring as needed for other standardized tests such as COMPASS and the ACT or SAT tests.Entered data into a data base system daily and updated it weekly while maintaining records as currently mandated by the Department of Education.Conducted an internal intake following test administration to develop an educational plan for each participant.Followed up with participants by letter, phone, and/or e-mail at 30 days and 60 days. When participant passes GED or earns a high school diploma, contact about college entrance.Assist participants with career exploration and vocational awareness, using OCIS, ONET and/or MYPLAN.Maintained a scholarship resource bank and assisted participants in actively looking for scholarships and other financial assistance. Added scholarships to the bank regularly.Reached out to local post-secondary institutions annually to become and remain familiar with their admission criteria and processes.Assisted participants with scheduling college tours.Collaborated with the Veterans Upward Bound and other Veteran organizations to serve veterans and their families.
