- Architected and drove the technical strategy for DoorDash's Voice AI platform, directly impacting over 10 million customers and positioning DoorDash at the forefront of conversational commerce.- Leveraged advanced technologies such as Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Large Language Models (LLMs) to design and build a cutting-edge, real-time Voice AI solution, revolutionizing the way customers place phone orders.- Pioneered and scaled the Voice AI initiative from the ground up as the first engineer on the project, transforming it from concept to a fully operational line of business. - Led and launched Login with DoorDash (LwDD), a key component of Storefront digital ordering, facilitating faster login and payments across thousands of merchants- Redesigned and implemented core accounting features for Bbot, a restaurant ordering platform acquired by DoorDash to boost in-store dining

- Created and executed a comprehensive vision for DoorDash’s global search platform, transforming it from a core search functionality to supporting 11+ diverse use cases, including personalized recommendations, delivery radius restrictions, and enabling other high growth DoorDash businesses like Drive and Self-Delivery- Led the development of a search platform that powered over $7B+ in annual revenue and facilitated more than 6 billion orders. Built the main platform powering the entire homepage experience, driving significant user engagement and business growth.- Engineered technology that extended search capabilities beyond the core product, enabling seamless integration across multiple critical services. Ensured that the search platform could meet the complex demands of various business units.- Provided strategic leadership across 20+ teams, including pricing, order, logistics, ETA, and consumer experience and 400+ engineer organization. Fostered collaboration and innovation to ensure the search platform scaled effectively and aligned with broader company goals.

- Designed and implemented a scalable architecture using ElasticSearch for reverse indexing, Redis for caching, and PostgreSQL as the backbone database. This ensured the global search platform’s reliability and performance across all regions.- Engineered the system to handle peak loads of ~5,000+ queries per second, equating to ~13 billion queries per month. This infrastructure ensured consistent performance and scalability, supporting DoorDash’s rapid growth and high user demand.- Architected and scaled mission-critical backend components that power DoorDash’s consumer-facing features, including homepage recommendations, carousels, and autocomplete.- Pioneered the integration of machine learning algorithms into the search infrastructure, enhancing the recommendation systems.
