In this role, I work in the productivity category for chocolate packaging within the BU Brazil, reporting to the Latin America team. I have been working with flexible, corrugated, and paperboard materials. Among the key activities were:- Creation of packaging specifications and technical drawings.- Exploration of new packaging technologies to deliver productivity solutions.- Economic analysis of savings between projects.- Development of reports on the reduction waste for single-use plastics, virgin corrugated material, and paper.- Conducting industrial tests involving packaging machinery.- Collaborative development of solutions with various departments (manufacturing, engineering, consumer science, and marketing).- Project leadership for productivity initiatives aimed at the BU Brazil (Curitiba and VSA).- Implementation of projects through platforms utilizing vertical start-up & IL6S.- Review and correction of artwork.- Communication with suppliers, working in collaboration and assessing proposals.

In this position, I worked to support innovation, sustainability, and productivity projects in packaging, encompassing flexible, corrugated, and paperboard materials. Among the key activities were:- Elaboration of technical specifications.- Monitoring of industrial tests, assessing the interaction between the materials and the machinery.- Analysis of laboratory tests (analytical and physical) for packaging.- Exploration of new packaging materials.- Engagement with suppliers in the development of packaging solutions.

In the planning department, I performed the following activities:- Inventory management routines.- Analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and management reports.- Analysis of supply demand for concentrators and distribution centers.- Analysis through software-generated reports such as BI and VBA.

Scientific research through laboratory activities with a focus on the improvement and scale-up of a textile fiber prototype derived from macroalgae, which was developed in 2021 by myself and my research team. The primary aim of this research was the economic analysis of the process and its environmental impact, comparing it to the spinning processes of other pre-existing fibers such as cotton, wool, linen, nylon, etc.
