Coordinate the largest hackathon in Texas to enrich computer science education

• Contributed to IT Audits to ensure regulatory compliance (NYCRR, NIST) evaluating control effectiveness in: Access Management, AWS Infrastructure, ServiceNow Request Management, E911 Communications, AWS CI/CD Pipeline. • Developed cloud solutions to conduct continuous automated testing, via AWS Security Hub and AWS CloudWatch, to maintain CIA principles for AWS resources

• Led incoming freshman through their transition to college socially, academically, and housing-related concerns• Collaborated with other Peer Advisors to plan supplemental events for parties consisting of approximately 60 students• Ran a Resume Building & Interview Prep Workshop to an audience of 30+ students

Researched with Dr. Shiyi Wei, winner of 7th annual NSA Best Scientific Cybersecurity Paper Competition, to analyze the issues in bug detecting tools, known as static analyzers. My methodology consisted of familiarizing myself with three popular tools, FlowDroid, SOOT, and WALA, understanding their bug reports posted on github, categorizing each report and drawing a conclusion after compiling all reports. Supplementally to my research, I also worked on creating a java plugin for the Eclipse IDE that will highlight possible faults in the user’s code based on if the code failed JUnit test cases.
