A Multi-talented music artist from Louisiana. Dastranger now known as Dopeboybluez was a hip-hop artist that went rogue. This native southern Creole bayou boi, is on a mission to change the game. Known for his unique blend and ability to harmonize his strong vocals creating a beautiful “Gumbo” when mixed just right. Dopeboybluez has released music in both worlds, from albums to mixtapes and other collabs. Now he is focusing more on his Dopeboybluez brand of music which has been proven to leave the dance floor in an ecstatic uproar.He has connected with many well-known Southern and Northern Artist such as Sam-I-AM, Lil Boosie, Nero, PNC, Beelow, Webbie, Foxx, Kevin Gates, Max Manilli, Shonte, Da Underdawgs of UGK, Sporty T, Pokey, Mz. Pat "lady of soul", Jeter Jones, Stephanie Mc Dee "Queen of Southern Soul" Tyrese Neil, Kenny Neil, Wyld Kyle of Jagged Edge, DJ Taz, Jeff Floyd, LOS of Flame ENT, and Jaz-O of King Kounty to name a few. The first release by Da Stranger in the Rap world "Shake a Leg" Maxi Single and "So Krucial" Compilation which include songs "C-Town" and "B back Up". Other works include self-titled "Da Stranger Compilation" "iRadio Mixtape" and Coast 2 Coast "Showcase" with associated acts: "Lil J" John "Hot Rod" Williams Jr.In 2014 Dastranger became the youngest Southern Soul blues artist as he express the R&B and Blues side with his "DopeBoyBluez" project, blending blues and a rap based mixture which is a part of the first hot release "Keep Dancing". Da Stranger’s genuine love for music coming enables him to” hear music in everything" while enjoying making people dance and feels great. John was driven by his mother to let the world hear his music. She was excited to see her son's dream come true, but before that happened she recently passed in 2018 in a wrongful fatal accident. John and his family was seeking peace after the pain and suffering seeing their mother air-med. In honor John does free concerts for Every Mother's Day to give back joy to Mothers everywhere "giving them flowers while they are still with us" and working harder on putting his music out now.In late 2020 DopeBoyBluez major press debut with KISS 94.1fm Meridian, MS and WZKD: the Big KD 94.1 as an affiliated act with King Russell ENT under Sony/Universal music.
