RCIB are one of the leading companies in insurance in the UK broking sector. My role at RCIB I started in a sales position and spoke to prospects that have been online and had a quote as well as once that had purchased insurance. With purchases with personal line insurance a lot of details entered are incorrect but most people are unaware of this my job was to speak to the clients make sure details where correct and finalise there insurance. I was assessed on my calls like a lot of insurance companies are now and my average pass rate was 96% average requirement was 90%.Once I had done this roll just over a year I was promoted to training manager. At this point I would train all new starters on products and services. Once they where up to speed I would teach them how to use the system and enter data. I would also do a couple of practice calls to get them up to speed. The first week they were on the phone I would listen in and advise when I needed to.I would also hold training sessions on how to advise and sell an insurance policy as well as call auditing technique and new product info.
