As an Ask ECMS crew member, I am involved in providing information and supporting students of the Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Adelaide so that they could get the most out of their experience at the University.

-Involve in designing a rover that would be capable of competing in a full-scalesimulated lunar mission.-Designing and implementing software to perform the designated tasks of the rover.-Enabling two-way communication in between the rover and the base station

Mentoring commencing international coursework students to support their academic and personal development, and help them establish a sense of connection and belonging within the University of Adelaide community.

• Perform software development work (front-end development, back-end development, requirements analysis, programming, testing and documentation) on projects allocated by the manager.• Responding to ad-hoc maintenance and support requests from manager/client users.

My task was to analyse over 140 Stack Overflow threads in order to to identify abstract communication patterns within the platform (eg: whether a question will be answered, what kind of answers it will attract, whether it will be edited, and how well it will be received by the Stack Overflow community). These patterns will be further developed and applied in the process of training new domain-specific models on Stack Overflow data, to understand the impact of confusion and discourse structure on the success of information exchange on Stack Overflow.
