· Plan and perform experiments & assays to investigate the role of IL-1α, an inflammatory cytokine, in inducing pre-term birth, employing techniques such as western blot, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA· Utilize statistical analysis tools to validate findings and confirm IL-1α expression patterns· PI: Dr. Oksana Shynlova, Lab Mentor: Dr. Lubna Nadeem

· Collaborate with supervisors to organize and execute events aimed at supporting underrepresented student communities, achieving over 100 attendees monthly, fostering sense of belonging at university· Engage university faculties and student organization leaders for event participation and promotion, broadening event reach· Employ data management tools to generate insightful event reports and formulate strategies to boost subsequent event registration and promotional efforts.
