As a research associate, I was responsible for managing two electrophysiology research labs and developing research projects for medical device trials. I oversaw all phases of clinical trials and was involved in initial budget negotiations, acting as a liaison with physicians and drug companies to meet requirements for contract negotiations.I managed regulatory documents and clinical trials manuals, and designed patient tracking charts applications. I also formulated source documents and data collection charts, and facilitated the completion of clinical charts and case report forms. I ensured the quality of data retrieved from hospital records and reported research activities to the principal investigator and IRB as necessary.In addition, I was responsible for completing IND/IDE safety reporting procedures according to regulatory compliance and GCP training, and maintaining IRB annual renewals. I also assisted in the evaluation and development of new algorithms for data analysis.
