I was on the Control PCB soldering bench in the family's UPS factory and couldn't wait to finish my degree and not see another UPS again! How wrong I was. My last adventure involved explaining a data center business plan in 1999, winning private backing, driving the business to Switzerland's largest hyperscale data center landlord, two institutional recaps on the way to an eventual sale for the upper 9 digits 20 years later.That was a Watt-to-Kilowatt-to-Megawatt journey.
