I am a Professional in the growing field of Surveying, Mapping and GIS (Data Capture, Data Management, Dissemination, etc), encompassing but not limited to Engineering Surveys, Aerial Mapping, Satellite Remote Sensing and all Land-based Information Management.I have been in this field since 2002.I have lots of experience working across the entire Eastern Africa including Sudan, Somalia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda. I currently jointly own a surveying and mapping firm (as the Managing Director) since late 2012; and together we have so far accomplished a lot within the firm for various clients ranging from Engineering consultancies, government agencies, private firms to diversified interest groups. Our vision at GEOTECHNIKA AFRICA LIMITED is to be prime players in delivering timely and cost effective digital survey data for clients across the entire African continent. To this end, we have upgraded our skill set and as of 2016, acquired aerial mapping equipment and software to enable us deliver mapping data at rapid pace.We have so far delivered road design data for final design (the very low altitude of flights enable very high quality GSD numbers, less than 2cm per pixel enabling high accuracy suitable for design with more data being made available per square area than with traditional methods) and we look forward to doing a lot if work in this and related areas for Engineering and other projects.Feel free to contact me via this forum if you need more information or clarification or any service that we are offering.
