Lead the Quality Excursion through close coordination with cross functional engineering team. Lead the CPI (Continuous Process Improvement) team to identify, recommend opportunities for improvement and work on the variation reduction.ACHIEVEMENTS: Successfully supervised all dppm (Defect Parts per Million) improvement plans and achieved target of FVMI dppm < 400 vs. 600. Preventive measures are taken by practicing 4M1E method during auditing and also highlighting to the respective department any non-conformance. These are examples, which lead to reduction in Dppm issues. Successfully implemented New QC Audit Plan (smooth transition) which reduced the number of IAR (Immediate Action Request) cases by 50%, which was an average of 156 cases reduced to 78 cases (per month). Housekeeping audit has resulted greater awareness on general cleanliness in Production floor. A permanent solution of metal clip for exhaust pipe at Swaging and UV Oven stations was achieved as an example. QC buy-off activities were done in timely manner with no record of down-time from the activities. The buy-off period improved from 2hrs to 1.5 hrs. due to the constant training which was given to the QC operators. Had suggested to Process Eng. concerning handling effectiveness at UV Oven and VMI per stipulated UPH. Successfully trim down overtime by using current h/count to attend to additional activities. All standardization issues were closed with compliance. Meetings are done almost every day with subordinates & operators. Successfully coordinated co-relation test (VMI) for QC operator per requirement. Cross trainings are done in which PMP (Process Management Plan) standardization is achieved.REASON FOR LEAVING: Retrenched – IVSS (Department moved to Thailand)
