Being born and raised in Fort McMurray provided me with vast career opportunities. Starting at an early age in the trades I was able to complete my Refrigeration ticket by the age of 21 and secure a full time position with Suncor during this apprenticeship. While working at Suncor I was fortunate to have great mentor-ship and many learning opportunities, one of which was completing my Class A Gasfitter certification. In the interest of gaining broader life experience I left Suncor to pursue winter opportunities in my passion of Mountain Sledding while working very fast paced and busy summers with Casman utilizing my trades. This provided many unique experiences that I feel helped me to develop a more well rounded set of skills in and out of my trade field. All this lead to the present day of starting a new company local to Fort McMurray, Berwic Heating and Cooling inc., with good friend and co owner Nathan Hoar. I look forward to what the future has to offer and building a quality company based on strong values to serve the best interests of the businesses and people of my community.
