Digital Manufacturing• Vehicle assembly process validation with ergonomics Involved in validation of NPI Product for assembly/fabrication/service ability process to ensure the possibility of assembly fitments/Fabrication/service ability.Involved in validation of assembly process planning made by planner in terms of assembly sequence, assembly fitments, parts and resources consumed in the assembly operation. Thus we do continuous refinement in assembly process plan starting from concept to final stage.Involved in final vehicle assembly process sheet creation, operation sheet creation once the prototype is digitally through. DetailsThis project is about Design validation of parts at assembly process. Our scope of work is to validate the assembly process by conducting following studies on the given vehicle model.Examine assembly sequences: There should be a proper sequence of parts in the assembly. We virtually assemble the parts in a given sequence to examine the feasibility of the process.Examine Ergonomics for workability: Here we check the Physical and Mental load on the operator, during assembly process. The results can then be used to improve workability and thereby the efficiency of operators can be improved. Workability Check using Human Simulation.Apart from above mentioned studies, we also check for basic production requirements for given assembly condition. These production requirements are as follows:- Interference and clearance checks of assembly part with surroundings, Tool Space, Hand Space, Locating Structure, Temporary Holding structure , intended design parameters identification marks , Assembly fitment issues (Static check), Assembly trajectory issues (Dynamic check) etc.
