The role of a Deal Architect within the Education PreSales department of the EMEA region is to drive forward sales performance through the following:- Seamlessly processing deal flow in an End-To-End basis through Harmony and CRM; to raise estimates of costs & margins, manage subsequent opportunities, obtain internal deal approvals, configure the creation of contracts as well as process/collect signatures to finalize deals.- Acting as a single point of contact/resource within the internal organization; conferring and collaborating with teams (Sales, Delivery, Commercial, Finance, Legal) to administer deal closure and identify key issues within its structure.- Scheduling/hosting impromptu calls internally to discuss, educate and support colleagues and improve deal workflow.- Handling special scenarios, high volume work, and short deadlines.- Managing deal trackers with up-to-date information.- Identifying and driving forward new process implementations, such as intelligent contracting via SAP’s own internal tools & DocuSign.- Assisting Account Executives through deal cycles and continuous updates for Training & Adoption.

The role or BAME advocate was to support and inspire Black, Asian, Minority and Ethnic (BAME) students to voice their opinions, share their experiences, as well as consulting/helping staff provide as many inclusive practices as possible.
