Moyo ndi Mpamba Radio Drama series are a 30-minute, weekly interactive radio program that is designed to provide information on priority health issues for adults in Malawi. The program will use drama as the key vehicle to address issues of: Malaria, Child Survival (including diarrhea and other illnesses), Safe Motherhood, Reproductive Health and Family Planning, HIV and AIDS, WASH (sanitation and hygiene), and Nutrition. The series will last at least 52 episodes, and is planned to run for the duration of the SSDI project. The medium chosen is radio, because its effectiveness in reaching audiences in Malawi has been demonstrated widely. We intend to use entertainment and education to engage the attention and interest of our audience, to open up a highly active and interactive dialogue between the radio program and its listeners and across all the listeners, through local dialogue and discussion. This radio show will be backed by other strategies and support materials, and will involve collaboration with community groups and organizations, in order to reinforce the messages of the radio program. We will also explore the potential for partnerships with other groups--private sector companies; national and local NGOs; and donor-sponsored programs—to enable us to reach a larger audience and increase feedback and participation from listeners through social media.

Responsible for the development and deployment of a mobile money payments and transactions platform in Malawi that will be bank-independent servicing mainly micro finance sector in Malawi by providing one stop solutions to them. Let MFIs be MFIs while the technology and business enabling platforms are managed, implemented and driven by a technology company that understands the intricacies of modern technology i.e virtualisation, USSD, MIS systems, hosting etc.Responsible for the recruitment of third party and utility service providers to connect to the platform. Management and recruitment of Agents to offer the general public with the touch points without them having to visit brick and mortar institutions.

Responsible for the bank's strategic drive towards branchless banking through the use of alternate delivery channels such as Point of Sale, Cell phone banking, ATM Channels.Played a key role in the development of the banks strategic plan towards branchless banking.Part of the core team to develop tand tremendously improve the banks' cell phone banking channel whose subscriber baase increased from 20,000 to 45,000 without intense outdoor advertising but through high service provision and high availability of the service.Key member of the team that drafted a proposal for full scale agency banking (both deposit taking and encashment from customer accounts) to Reserve Bank of Malawi. A pilot license was granted and the bank went on a pilot from March 2012

ICT strategy formulation for the bank that largely centered on branchless banking through Banki Mkhonde and creating an IT platform that supported the bank during the years that it grew its footprint across Malawi. From planting a branch on top of of the Livinsgtonia mountain to planting a branch inside the tea estates of Lujeri in Mulanje to server tea pickers with their salary payments and an ATM machine. We expanded to Jenda, Mzimba, a trading center that nobody thought a bank would thrive at and not forgetting the Limbe Market OIBM branch, a tiny 3m by 5m space converted into a banking hall which quickly grew its books to surpass some established commercial banks. Technology was behind all these initiatives especially when connectivity was not all that good and we had to improvise the links and in other cases drag service providers to extend presence.As a result, OIBM became a very accessible banking institution to the micro-finance market base, our customer base grew tremendously across Malawi in a space of 2 years owing to the enabling IT environment that has been created.
