I help people and organisations to reach their goals; by leveraging information and communication technology. I aim to provide tangible and useful results rapidly and involve all affected stakeholders. I am convinced that this is the most beneficial way to apply IT.My most recent occupation was being a (senior) software engineer as well as software architect and product owner at iteratec. I have previously also worked a Junior Scientist at the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, as a Project Assistant at TU Wien and as a web developer during my master's studies.I graduated from TU Wien with a PhD in Business Informatics in December 2019.My industry background is in web development and IT consulting. As a web developer, I have worked with a variety of technologies and frameworks, on multiple technology stacks. I generally work as a full-stack developer, owing to the nature of development in research projects and recent trends towards the DevOps philosophy.As a consultant, I have acted as the interface between stakeholders in IT projects; most importantly, as the product owner that aligns the priorities of the development team with the project vision and expectations of the customer.My academic background is primarily in the field of computer-supported cooperative work (CSCW). I was also engaged in human-computer interaction (HCI) research, to a lesser degree. I applied this research in the context of crisis and disaster management. Specifically, I investigated the use of information and communication technology to support the cooperation in crisis and disaster situations.
