Manage the process of designing and launching single region, global/regional clinical research studies under general direction; lead activities of the Sponsor/Clinical Research Organization (CRO), and guide the Project Manager (PM) and Set-up Coordinators (SC) in designing and organizing project components during Start-Up.

• Manages the activities of 9+ lymphoma clinical trials • Independently reviews patient records to determine study eligibility; interfaces with research participants, educates patients on study protocols and treatment plans and serves as a major point of contact throughout their enrollment on study• Acts as an intermediary between principal investigators, patients, sponsors, clinical staff, and various departments within Emory Healthcare• Coordinates proper scheduling of study procedures to ensure protocol compliance, including research labs, medical procedures, and both inpatient and outpatient care• Maintains patient charts, and reviews source documents to complete case report forms (CRFs). Rafi Ahmed Lab, Emory Vaccine Center• Employed various immunological techniques in the study of t-cell exhaustion in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), melanoma, and head and neck cancer patients in human specimens as well as cancer and chronic diseases in murine models • Collaborated on clinical research studies with investigators from Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University and other laboratories within Emory Vaccine Center• Engaged in immunotherapy research on various clinical trials and human research studies simultaneously. Worked closely with clinical collaborators to establish protocol design and obtain specimens• Coauthored research published in Science and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) journals

• Performed a wide variety of routine and complex clinical testing procedures to obtain data for use in multiple clinical trials in the areas of PCR, DNA extraction, and microbiology• Documented all project work according to GCP (Good Clinical Practices) processes and procedures, as necessary.• Provided oversight and guidance to Medical Laboratory Technicians and/or Assistants.• Assisted in the development and writing of new medical laboratory procedures and techniques• Communicated effectively with Program Mangers, fellow scientists, and supervisory staff on clinical testing findings, troubleshooting, and other miscellaneous tasks
