As part of the Data-Platform team at Qualtrics, I am currently focused on rearchitecting our data schema store to a cloud-native architecture on top of DynamoDB that is projected to save $1 million a year while also eliminating database administration and greatly reducing operational overhead.I am also actively working with several other engineers to reinvent our integration and build system used by the Golang teams at Qualtrics to one based on Earthly, in order to provide greater extensibility.In addition to these major projects, I prioritize and complete many other tasks and projects with my team, participate in the on-call rotation for my team, mentor new hires and interns, provide design feedback for major new features, services, and initiatives, and perform and participate in root cause analysis of product incidents.

I design, implement, and maintain high throughput, NoSQL storage services that are consumed by other internal services. I also maintain data ingress and egress services for the Qualtrics platform. I work extensively with distributed system design, asynchronous messaging/event systems, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization and orchestration, and use various languages including Go, Java, and Python. I work extensively with various database and streaming services including DynamoDB, Redis, MySQL, Kinesis, and Kafka.As part of a DevOps organization I participate in a monthly on-call rotation where I release and monitor services, automate common operation tasks, respond to alerts and incidents, perform root cause analysis, and triage bugs and customer reported issues.

Co-founded a freelance Graphic Design business. We do custom design work for customers as well as offer template designs such as cards, custom pictures, and gifts as well as seasonal items for interior decoration or stationary. We also offer design packages for weddings, baby showers, and graduations.Currently we are developing and preparing to offer custom single page websites for weddings or portfolio pages. This can be purchased separately or as part of a design package.I am the primary web developer and I manage our web server. I also use HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to take webpage designs from wire-frames to fully functioning sites.

Teach the fundamentals of computer architecture and the C and Assembly programming languages. Use knowledge of PHP, HTML, and CSS to maintain course website and Help Queue that are used by hundreds of students each semester.Collaborate with instructor and other TAs to address problems and develop new curriculum for the course.
