I have over 30 years of sustained success as an educator and curriculum developer in the higher education university environment as well as an internationally successful career as a scientific researcher in behavioural pharmacology & psychology. For nearly 20 years I have held significant leadership roles at Victoria University of Wellington. Responsibilities have included managing a top 50 QS ranked academic department (as a Head of the School of Psychology); development of growth initiatives and all aspects of faculty-level management (as Dean of the Faculty of Science and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering); whole of organisation leadership, strategy, and operation (as Pro Vice-Chancellor of Science, Engineering, Architecture & Design Innovation); and strategic growth of over half of the institution’s academic and research areas in the role of Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor.
