My roster has been as large as 20 students, from preschoolers to adults in their seventies. There are many families who have kept my services for years, with children in college who started with me in grade school. I teach piano, guitar, drums, mandolin, and bass— and whenever possible, multiple instruments at once. I visit homes and work out of my recording studio, in addition to offering virtual appointments when appropriate.

I've had clients across many fields, from therapists to dog breeders to musicians. I spend a lot of downtime developing for myself, be it resources for my students or just ideas for my own education or entertainment. I've got the most experience in Node, React, and MongoDB since MERN stack is my go-to for personal projects. I've worked plenty in Squarespace and Wordpress too, for people who don't want to rely on me for future site updates.Personal projects make up the majority of my work, since learning new technologies is really my driving motivation.

I was initially hired to run the soundboard but my duties grew until I was in charge of show production. For roughly 750 shows I worked with artist management on riders, rentals, and stage requirements. I managed the setting up and tearing down of the wiring and stage equipment, in addition to running the soundboard during each show.I also handled the scheduling of our audio team, and the training of new members. Among the acts and management teams I worked with are Judy Collins, Ani DiFranco, Vanessa Carlton, Loudon Wainwright III, Jorma Kaukonen, and even Kevin Bacon. Through this job I became comfortable with the extremes of multitasking and acquired considerable experience in concise but friendly correspondence. Being detail-oriented was important, as well as having the ability to diagnose and repair problems quickly— even in the middle of a performance!
