• Designed, developed, tested, implemented and maintained star schema data models and quality ELT software to support the Group’s ongoing international data warehousing initiative whilst adhering to CPP’s strict security policies.• Ensured accurate and effective BI is available for the business by supporting the production BI infrastructure 24x7.• Played a critical part in a small international team that analysed and rationalised the group reporting in Business Objects XI to rebuild in Power BI desktop and publish to the cloud portal across three tenants. Developed in an Agile manner using Jira scrum boards the project and ongoing support have broadened knowledge of PBI professional, licensing, workspace administration and security, semantic model and report building, on-premise gateways, incremental refresh, publishing Power BI Apps.• Designed, documented and built an urgently needed Tactical Data Warehouse on Oracle and a new suite of Power BI reports to support new Amazon source systems. Provided support to the team in India who built the long-term Strategic Data Warehouse in Amazon Redshift.• Attended a weeklong Power BI and Fabric Summit 2024 hosted by RADACAD.• Completed Microsoft training event Fabric Analyst in A Day 2024.• Collaborated with the wider project team, ensured the international data warehouse remained compliant with the GDPR regulations. Following analysis, designed and developed an innovative multi-process solution which covered 12 of CPP’s global markets including India, UK, Spain, Turkey and Germany.• Using Kimball methodology, built extract processes for Policy Data Mart to replace and improve upon the legacy data warehouse. Provided central view of insurance company’s 65 million policies across all product services and all nationalities. As well as providing reporting for all levels of internal management, the solution enabled reporting packs to be produced for the company’s external business partners.
