The Technician Apprenticeship included 1 year focused on Machining and Toolroom practice from turning, milling, fitting, welding etc. A further 2 years were spent in various shopfloor and office activities. This involved undertaking track work building engines, axles and vehicles as well as experience in Body Assembly, Press and Paint.The final year was spent in Chassis Engineering developing engineering solutions for Jaguar front and rear axles through hand drawings on the boards to becoming a competent CAD user.
