Tasked with the protection of Nike’s intellectual property assets by carrying out varied and dynamic forms of investigation, negotiation and problem solving. Focusing on the use of ethical and legally compliant enforcement methods across the Pacific region, Nike Australia Brand Protection is addressing the trade in counterfeit goods at all levels of the supply chain.This role primarily addresses the promotion and sale of counterfeit goods via online trading sites as well as popular social networking platforms. Issues such as false or misleading price representations of genuine product offered through grey market channels are also handled.Other responsibilities include consumer education and advice, Police and Govt agency liaison, as well as on going day to day support to other departments in the business.

Day to day responsibility of addressing counterfeit goods appearing in the ANZ marketplace.Also responsible for identifying and mitigating threats to ghd intellectual property rights within my territory.

Oversee Trust and Safety's external liaison with Government and private agencies.

Focus on building strong on-going relationships with key stakeholders including Government agencies such as the Ministry of Economic Development and Internal Affairs, as well as the New Zealand Police and Customs Service.Fraud indentifcation and investigation including credit card and non delivery of goods.

Provide support to the Fair Trading branch and Contact Centre regarding issues relating to the Fair Trading Act.
