I’ve released three critically acclaimed novels for kids aged 8 - 12. The Wereduck series is beloved by kids across Canada and is part of the Grade 7 curriculum in two provinces. I’ve toured my book to schools from to coast.

I promote the stories of research at the University of Prince Edward Island through social media, events, media relations, and traditional communications. My pitches have resulted in stories in the New York Times, Globe and Mail, The Washington Post, Al Jazeera, all CBC platforms, and online publications around the world.

I broadened the show’s range by covering stories that were playing out online in early social media. I won the 2009 Sam Ross Award for commentary from the RTNDA.

For much of 2006/7, I filled in as producer. During this time, Information Morning regained the top spot in the market. I acted as back-up host for the provincial afternoon show. I also produced a number of items for national programming and syndication.
