About Dave Baiocchi

In 1983, I started my career in the material handling business with Peterson Power Systems in San Leandro Ca. After 6 years in field sales for Peterson, I was promoted to Rental Fleet and Used Equipment Manager in late 1987. In 1990 I joined the team at J.M. Equipment Co., Inc as a General Sales Manager. In 1999, I and five other key employees partnered to purchasethe dealership, and I became President of the Material Handling Division. In 2005, I shifted responsibilities from equipment sales to aftermarket support and marketing. In this role, I help to mentor and develop middle managers throughout the company, while also developing tools to continuously improve our service and support offering to our client base.In June of 2013, I founded Resonant Dealer Services LLC. This consulting firm was created to share dealership best practices, especially in regard to aftermarket opportunities. All of the programs available are designed to connect employees to customers in more dynamic and meaningful ways, and to create or change corporate culture in ways that motivate employees to meet the stated objectives of the management. The consulting programs touch multiple areas of the dealership including sales planning, delivery practices, aftermarket offerings, management compensation, parts inventory efficiency, and SOP development. On September 30th 2016, I officially retired from J.M. Equipment Co., to expand and further develop my consulting activities through RDS. Ethero represents the Nikola Motors battery electric, and hydrogen electric vehicles as well as Lonestar SV battery powered terminal tractors. The state of California has mandated that many users of diesel powered class 8 vehicles convert to zero emission alternatives, as early as 2024. Ethero offers vehicles as well as charging and energy solutions to help customers respond to these new regulations.
